Joint Security Project Workshop

June 20, 2017 | Toronto

To strengthen cybersecurity practices and skills in Canada’s research and education community, CANARIE is hosting the Joint Security Project Workshop. The workshop will bring together leading cybersecurity professionals from Canada’s higher ed and research institutions to discuss best practices and build skills for the deployment and configuration of Bro, a leading open-source Intrusion Detection System (IDS). Participants will have an opportunity to share their challenges and experiences with their own IDS deployments, and will benefit from live, classroom-style training delivered by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA).

We look forward to your participation in this workshop, to learn from highly skilled trainers, to share best practices, and to explore new opportunities for collaboration with other cybersecurity professionals.

Please note: All workshop proceedings will be conducted in English.
