Project Manager

CANARIE has an immediate opening for Project Manager. This role will be accountable for implementing and administering CANARIE’s project management processes including reporting on these activities.

This is a new full-time term position through May 31, 2028, that reports to CANARIE’s Director, Project Management Office.

The salary range for this role is between $104,000 – $134,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects through the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and formal closure
  • Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, communications, procurement, quality, and governance requirements
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and project communications, including meetings, expectations, status updates, key decisions, recommendations, and escalations
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes, capture lessons learned, and identify opportunities to improve future project delivery
  • Other related duties and responsibilities, as required

What You Bring

Education and Experience

  • College diploma or university degree or a suitable combination of education, experience, or other relevant training
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant progressive experience in project management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience working in an environment that uses Agile, Waterfall, and/or hybrid project delivery approaches
  • Experience with leading CRM projects is desirable

Technical Proficiencies
