As well as offering fundamental advanced network services, CANARIE provides other services that are critical to keeping Canada at the forefront of the world's digital economy.

• Canadian Access Federation – The Canadian Access Federation provides members with access to eduroam and Shibboleth services.
• Content Delivery Service – CANARIE's Content Delivery Service (CDS) provides access to content from approved providers for Research and Education institutions.
• Digital Accelerator for Innovation and Research (DAIR) – DAIR provides small and medium-sized high-tech companies with an opportunity to speed time to market by offering an advanced R&D environment for product design, prototyping, validation and demonstration. The pilot program was operational in May 2011, and CANARIE accepted proposals from April 2011 to December 20, 2011.
