CANARIE National Summit attracts leading lights in emerging technologies

Summit focus is on the path and the potential for Canadian leadership in robotics, wearables and medical technologies

CANARIE, a vital component of Canada’s digital infrastructure supporting research, education and innovation, today announced the final speaker lineup for its National Summit, being held in Ottawa on September 23 and 24.

The Summit will showcase a range of leading thinkers, doers and visionaries from business, academia, government and the not-for-profit sector to explore how Canada can be positioned for leadership in key emerging technologies.  Speakers will address the opportunities generated from rapid advances in robotics, wearables, and medical technologies, and will challenge participants to think about how the players in Canada’s innovation ecosystem can align to capitalize on them.

Keynote speakers include:
